The mount attatches to your top plate via the use of two velcro straps over the Lipo. An action camera of your choice is mounted on one arm and a similarly weighted counter balance is mounted on the opposite arm. Two different mounting blocks are supplied. The angled block is specifically designed to allow the use of a generic 30 degree gopro mount, a common accessory in most pilots tool box. 
 
This version of the mount utilizes velcro straps, aimed particulary at top mounted lipo quads
